        When mixcraft opens up you will be choosing the purple option titled build your own virtual instrument track.
2.       Once the mixcraft has opened completely you will proceed to click on the tab that says mixer on the bottom if you will be recording you can only record with the purple piano.
3.       Once the mixer tab has opened you will then click on video file at the top there will be an option to ‘add a video file’ you will click that option.
4.       Once the option has opened you will click on desktop and then click on films folder, then you should see a file that is named ‘peter and the wolf 1 of 2’, click on that file.
5.       If your video file is not at the beginning you will need to click the space above the video and drag to the beginning.
6.       In order for your recordings to be heard you must click the audio track underneath the video. Once you click the bar you will see a box at the side, you should be able to see an icon titled ‘mute’ and that should mute your audio in order for you to play yours.
7.       If your video window doesn’t open you must go to video and click on ‘show video window’.
8.       To zoom out/ in you must hold your mouse on the video and scroll forward or backward, you should noticed that as you are zooming in or out the numbers will be less and more.
9.       To cut out a part of the video you will place your mouse on the beginning of the video and you should be able to see a double arrow replacing your mouse.
10.   Then you will drag the video to your preferred point or time in video, once you do that to the video you must repeat the step with your audio only linking the two.
11.   Once you have cut the video drag the video back to the beginning.
12.   If you prefer to see the whole clip zoom out a bit more with the directions from step 8.
13.   To save your video click on file, save as, desktop, grade 7, 7Y, and then create your own folder name.
14.   If you right click on an area of the audio you will see many options, if you click on split it will delete the audio that you do not need.
15.   Then to switch your instruments there should be a block with a curvy piano in it and a normal piano on the right side, to switch your instruments out you must click on the preferred portion of the orchestral music and then you will see a list of instruments display on the ride side of the toolbox click on your preferred instruments and you are done.
16.   VERY IMPORTANT: Regularly save your mixcraft file, got to file, save as, desktop, grade 7, 7y then name your folder.
17.   You will need to save you video for the blog as a different thing from your normal mixcraft, export your mixcraft, to do that you must go to file, then mix-down to, then to WMV and then save the newly exported file on to grade 7, 7y and your folder.
18.   There will be a yellow icon on your timing block, that is your metronome, to enable it the icon must be of a yellow color if it is white it will not be heard and wont set your tempo.
19.   You must let your metronome count 8 bets until you begin to play the piano, to slow done your metronome press on the numbers beside the metronome and they will give you options on how many beats you can access.
If your video has now moved to the middle of the screen once you've cut it, click the top of the video bar and move it to the far left of the screen which is the beginning
